Final PSAT Post.

I have finished reading the book. I did enjoy reading this book, it was something that really grabbed my attention. i do thing that the independent reading assignment did help me become a better reader. I also think that if you find a book that you are really interested in it is very worthwhile.

So far in my book kody has been shot 7 times. He was put in the hosptial for a few weeks behind it. Than 3 days out of the hosptial he got acused of shoting and killing someone the night he got out the hospital. He was than taking to juvenile hall for a few days and than he was sent to central.

Monster, The Autobiography of an L.A. Gang Member- Character Post

The main character in this book is Monster Kody Scott aka Sanyika Shakur. At the age of eleven he got jumped in to the Eight Tray Gansgters. He is one of the most compited people in the gang, and when he was about 16 three men from the Sixties ambushed him and shot him about seven times and tried to kill him. He is a father of a little girl named Keonda, he has not spent any real time with her or her mother.

So far in my book about for years has past in the first chapter. Kody aka Monster joined the a gang called The Eight Tray's. He got a jumped in at the age of 11 the night of his 6Th grade graduation. He has committed a number of different crimes such as assault, murder, attempted murder, auto thefted ect... He has lived up to the name that the 'pigs', another name for police, gave him...Monster!

"Akeelah and the Bee" - Part 2.

I really enjoyed this movie. At first i thought they were going to give her a word she didn't know and she was going to lose but to my surprise she won. i would really recommend this movie to people it was a really good movie. Words indeed helped Akeelah win the spelling bee and seeing as we are taking the writing TASK test tomorrow they will also help me to get a good score on the test.

Busted-Setting

The setting of busted has changed from being in Kim's living room in Connecticut, to a rich private school called Hereford High. It is still in Connecticut, but not in the same little city. The time period is the present, and it is in Connecticut. I know this because it stated it on the very first page.

Busted -Character Post

I believe that so far Kim Stratford is a static character. She has not made any change in herself so far in the book so she can not really be considered a dynamic character. Although she does seem like she will be making a change later on in the book she just has not done it. A static character can be defined as a character who does not undergo a personal change thought out the plot of the story.

So far in chapter one nothing really interesting has happened yet. the setting is that Kim Standford is back at home in Connecticut for winter brake. She is in her house with nothing to do because once she went to college she stopped talking to all her old high school friends.
